I am a philosopher of science. I specialize in general philosophy of science as well as the philosophy of social sciences. My research is focused on the role of prediction in science. Central research questions that I investigate include:

• When do predictions (and what kind of predictions) justify belief in scientific theories?
• How are scientific predictions best evaluated?
• How can scientific predictions (particularly social scientific predictions) be better utilized by consumers of research?
